About the Engine
Dystopia Engine is an AI-powered interactive world-building platform where utopian societies inevitably become dystopias. You define the rules of your world — its physics, economy, social structure, history, and beliefs. Then you play through AI-generated stories where those rules produce collapse.
Inspired by Imre Madách's The Tragedy of Man, the Engine asks a single question: what if the rules themselves are the villain? Every world you build is a thought experiment waiting to unravel. And when you're ready to venture beyond your own creation, take your characters and slide into worlds built by others — rules unknown, consequences yours.
Claude acts as the Game Master — synthesising your rules into a living world bible, generating branching stories with consequences, and enforcing the internal logic of your world even as it tears itself apart.
